“A RARE MODEL AND SIZE (REEL IS A FRACTION UNDER 4 1/2") OF THE HARDY UNIQUA REEL HAS A DUPLICATED CHECK BUT IS NOT YET MARKED WITH DUPLICATED CHECK DETAILS, THERE IS THE PATENT DETAILS INSIDE, ALONG WITH AN ALLOY FOOT (ALLOY WAS USED IN WORLD WAR 1 DUE TO THE SHORTAGE OF BRASS) WOULD SUGGEST THE REEL IS JUST PRIOR TO THE STRAIGHT LINE DUP. MK.1 STAMP WHICH CAME IN AROULD 1917/18. REEL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO SPOOL WOBBLE. REEL RETAINS A GOOD COLOUR WITH FORMER OWNERS INITIALS NEATLY ENGRAVED TO THE FACE. FOOT IS FULL LENGTH , NO GROOVES OR CUTS. OVERALL A SUPER EXAMPLE TO USE OR COLLECT. ALL AS PER PHOTOS AS THESE FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION”
