“A GOOD VINTAGE UNNAMED J W YOUNG PATTERN 5, 4" WIDE DRUM SALMON FLY REEL, REEL RETAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL BLACK CELLULOID FINISH, WITH SOME RUBBING MARKING AND OTHER SIGNS OF AGE AND WEAR (SEE PHOTOS) REEL WINDS WELL WITH A GOOD CRISP CHECK AND NO SPINDLE WEAR. A FEW VERY LIGHT LINE MARKS ON BACK RIM EDGE AND HANDLE HAS A FAINTEST OF LEAN TOWARDS THE CENTRE BUT I AM BEEING VERY PICKY. THERE IS SOME OLD SILK BACKING LINE ON THE REEL THAT I HAVE LEFT ON THERE FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES. ALL AS PER PHOTOS AS THESE FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION”
