“A NICE VINTAGE 3" J W YOUNG MADE FOR J DICKSON PATTERN 1 TROUT FLY REEL, REEL IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION WITH SOME PAINT WEAR AND MARKING FROM LIGHT TO NORMAL USE, CHECK HAS BEEN HEAVILY GREASED WHICH SOFTENS THE CHECK A LITTLE BUT NICE SHAPRP PAWL AND COG TEETH (IF YOU WANT TO CLEAN OFF THE GREASE IT WILL CRISPEN UP THE CHECK), REEL IS STAMPED WITH THE DICKSON $ SON DETAILS TO THE REVERSE BUT WOULD OF BEEN BUILT FOR THEM BY J W YOUNG AND IS THE YOUNGS PATTERN 1 TRADE REEL, THERE IS SOME SILK BACKING ON THE SPOOL BUT THIS IS AS FOUND AND WOULD NEED REPLACING BEOFRE REEL COULD BE USED. ALL AS PER PHOTOS AS THESE FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION”
