“One of the two filters is brand new and never used. The second unit has been used to clean about 500 liters of water indoors and about 20 liters outside. So the second unit"s filter has about 1480 liters of life left (out of the 2000 liters lifespan that it has according to Katadyn). The second unit"s pump head was broken by accident but if you buy one you will essentially have two (2) fully working Katadyn Vario Filters. The filters have activated carbon that you can easily replace yourself.”
