“Collectible, A.G. Spalding Bros “Nassau NO. 6" Antique Tennis Racquet - c1924 - Scarce - Red Gut Strings with Double Strung Main Strings and double black trebling along two main strings. This racquet is marked “Nassau NO. 6" in gold with “A.G. Spalding Bros” gold and black logo on the throat in excellent condition. Owner name "Florence Potch" "Flo" handwritten on two sides of the handle. The frame is straight in good antique condition with a light amber patina; however, there are scratches, scuffs, and dirt. Beautifully strung with original antique red gut main strings with red gut cross strings. The original leather butt collar is mostly missing. The handle is in good condition with scuffs and dings. The head has an attractive long oval shape. Please see all photos.”
