“A RARE MODEL AND SIZE (REEL ACTUALLY MEASURES 4 3/8" BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD AS A 4 1/2") OF THE HARDY UNIQUA REEL HAS A DUPLICATED CHECK BUT IS NOT YET MARKED WITH DUPLICATED CHECK DETAILS, THE REEL IS STAMPED C 15, THE C IS FOR THE REEL MAKER AND I THINK THE 19 IS MOST LIKELY FOR 1915. REEL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO SPOOL WOBBLE. REEL RETAINS A GOOD COLOUR WITH FULL LENGTH ALLOY FOOT, NO GROOVES OR CUTS, SOME OLD WAX LINE RESIDUE STILL ON THE SPOOL, FORMER OWNER HAS LIGHTLY PENNED A REFERENCE NUMBER TO THE FOOT BUT THIS WOULD CLEAN OFF WITH A LITTLE CLEANER. OVERALL A SUPER EXAMPLE TO USE OR COLLECT. ALL AS PER PHOTOS”
