“Beautifully restored and re-built Heddon #10 Blue Waters Bamboo Fly Rod - 9", 3/2pc, 2 1/2F (6-7wt), 1939-48 era, with correct beige cotton Heddon 4 compartment sock, and correct red Heddon screw cap cardboard rod tube. All wraps, guides, ferrules have been re-done original color red and black jasper silk. Guides were rusted and replaced with new eco chrome Snake Brand Originals guides. Tip tops are original. Rod has been performance enhanced using 2 addional guides on the mid and both tips in the Heddon #50 placement design. All varnish was removed with denatured alcohol. and refinished with two thinned coats of Helmsman Gloss spar varnish. Orignial cork cigar grip has not even been washed. The reel seat is is in solid, excellent condition. All sections a straight and full length. This 6 weight rod is an restored excellent condition survivor ready for another 70+ years on most any stream, river, or lake.”
