“A GOOD J W YOUNG BUILT FOR ALLCOCKS PATTERN 15A/MARVEL SALMON REEL, STAMPED WITH ALLCOCK MARVEL DETAILS, REEL IS FITTED WITH ADJUSTABLE CHECK AND HAS A NICKEL PLATED LINE GUARD, THE NICKEL HAS RUBBED TO ONE QUARTER EXPOSING THE BRASS UNDERNEATH BUT NO CUTS OR GROOVES JUST POLISH, REEL WORKS WELL, THERE IS A BIT OF SPINDLE PLAY ON THE SPOOL ALTHOUGH ALL RUNS SMOOTH WITH NO RUBBING, REEL HAS A GOOD FULL LENGTH FOOT, VERY SLIGHT MISSHAPING. REEL HAS A GOOD AMOUNT OF ITS ORIGINAL BLACK CELLULOID PAINT FINISH WOTH RUBBING, SCRATCHING AND ODD MARK, MAINLY TO THE RIMS. A NICE REEL TO USE OR COLLECT. ALL AS PER PHOTOS.”
