“Komplette Folge von 12 Kupferstichen von Gabriel Perelle von ca. 1700. -- Blatt-Maße: ca. 12 x 20 cm. Platte: ca. 17,5 x 17 cm. -- teils nur leicht fleckig, sonst gut erhalten. || Original copper engravings by Gabriel Perelle von c. 1700. Complete series of 12. -- partly only slightly stained, otherwise in very good condition. || Gabriel Perelle (1604-1677) und seine Söhne waren Pariser Kupferstecher im 17. Jahrhundert. Sein Hauptwerk konzentriert sich auf Schloss- und Gartenansichten sowie Landschaften. In seinem Atelier arbeiteten zeitweise die Söhne von Jacques Callot. 1665 wurde er von Ludwig XIV zum Directuer des Plans et des Cartes du Cabinet du Roi ernannt. || Gabriel Perelle (1604-1677) and his sons were Parisian engravers in the 17th century. His main work focuses on castle and garden views as well as landscapes. At times Jacques Callot"s sons worked in his studio. In 1665 he was appointed Directeur des Plans et des Cartes du Cabinet du Roi by Louis XIV.”
