“This Douglas Sky 590-4 Rod is a previously owned rod and we are not sure if it was actually ever fished. It is in Excellent + Condition. 5 WT - 9" - 4PC Fly Rod. The blank is in Excellent+ near mint Condition. The male ferrules have very minor micro abrasions from being put together a few times. No major scratches nor signs of wear . The female ferrules are near mint condition - no scrapes nor pressure wear marks. The blank itself is in excellent condition - there might be few minor surface scuffs - but no abrasions, nor scratches nor boat rash visible. The 10 guides and Tip Top are in Excellent condition as is the wrapping and epoxy. No corrosion present - all straight or true. The cork handle shows almost no dirt and in near mint physical condition. The real seat is in near mint shape. Uplocking rings work perfectly and are in excellent cond. The burled wood insert is in near mint condition. The only visible flaw is minor abrasion on the butt cap”
