“A VERY NICE EXAMPLE RETAINING MOST OF ITS ORIGINAL COLOUR AND BEAUTIFUL PATINA VERY MINOR RUB TO FACE. FACE IS ENGRAVED "G LITTLE & CO MAKERS TO H.R.H. PINCE OF WALES 15 FETTER LANE LONDON" I AM GUESSING THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PRINCE OF WALES LATER TO BE EDWARD VII. MAKING THIS REEL MOST LIKELY LATE VICTORIAN, REEL IS A LOVELY EXAMPLE, FULL LENGTH FOOT (SLIGHT DOWNTURNING ON THE ENDS OF THE FOOT AS PER PHOTOS) THERE IS AN OLD BRAIDED SILK SALMON LINE ON THE REEL THAT IS STRONG TO THE PULL BUT DUE TO AGE LINE IS AS FOUND. OVERALL A SUPER REEL FOR THE COLLECTION, ALL AS PER PHOTOS.”
